Taj Lounge – Flash Based

Taj Lounge – New York

Taj Lounge is a very high end lounge on West 21st in New York. When we were tasked with building their site we realized the most important aspect of Taj we needed to promote was the restaurant itself. Many New York restaurants use a lot of flashy graphics on their sites instead of images to mask the fact that their establishment is less then stellar looking when photographed. Taj is absolutely gorgeous inside and was becoming more so with the redesign that was launching at the same time as the site. For these reasons we chose to make a fully flash based website that focused on showing the place, No potential customer wants to read ten pages on why the owner of the restaurant thinks its great and surrounding those images with a design that evoked the proper ethnic flair.

Like our other websites we have designed for restaurants we focused on keeping the information simple and easily accessible. No potential customer wants to read ten pages on why the owner of the restaurant thinks its great. They want know the menu,  what the place looks like, maybe how they do their private events, and lastly how to make a fast reservation. We think the resulting site was pretty terrific. The photos we took weren’t so bad either.
