The Patient Centered Primary Care Collaborative is a coalition of major employers, consumer groups, patient quality organizations, health plans, labor unions, hospitals, physicians and many others who have joined together to develop and advance the patient centered medical home. The Collaborative has well over 500 members.
The Collaborative believes that, if implemented, the patient centered medical home will improve the health of patients and the viability of the health care delivery system. In order to accomplish our goal, employers, consumers, patients, physicians and payers have agreed that it is essential to support a better model of compensating physicians

Taj Lounge – Flash Based

Taj Lounge – New York

Taj Lounge is a very high end lounge on West 21st in New York. When we were tasked with building their site we realized the most important aspect of Taj we needed to promote was the restaurant itself. Many New York restaurants use a lot of flashy graphics on their sites instead of images to mask the fact that their establishment is less then stellar looking when photographed. Taj is absolutely gorgeous inside and was becoming more so with the redesign that was launching at the same time as the site. For these reasons we chose to make a fully flash based website that focused on showing the place, No potential customer wants to read ten pages on why the owner of the restaurant thinks its great and surrounding those images with a design that evoked the proper ethnic flair.

Like our other websites we have designed for restaurants we focused on keeping the information simple and easily accessible. No potential customer wants to read ten pages on why the owner of the restaurant thinks its great. They want know the menu, what the place looks like, maybe how they do their private events, and lastly how to make a fast reservation. We think the resulting site was pretty terrific. The photos we took weren’t so bad either.

Unlike many web developers, at Song Line Design we believe that a website should be editable by every site owner. This may decrease our profits by taking away the nickle and dime approach, but it keeps our relationships with clients positive which leads to referals!

Joshua Tree

Joshua Tree – New York

Joshua Tree is a very popular Restaurant – Bar – Grille – Whatever combination on New York Cities Midtown West. When we went to build this site we realized that we not only needed to stand out from other Joshua Tree bars (there is apparently a JT bar in every city in the world as well as another right in NYC!), but that we needed to be reachable to people simply searching for ‘Joshua Tree’ as most people we asked would neglect to include the words ‘New York’ or ‘Bar’. This made Search Engine Optimization extremely important. For this reason we decided to go with an HTML/CSS design with JavaScript used throughout to make the experience feel more ‘flash-like’.

Our other focus with the site was to keep the content centralized on the page so that visitors didn’t need to waste there time scrolling around the page trying to find what they are looking for. With a bar or restaurant people don’t need a ton of information, they need a very specific set of facts and plenty of pictures to get a feel for the environment. To this end we kept the content portion of the site contained, and used different headers on every page to give the visitor a rich feel for Joshua Tree’s Environment.

Katra Lounge – Flash Based

We built this site as a strictly flash based site for one of the more popular lower east side lounges. We chose to go with flash because it let us seamlessly integrate the branding throughout the site and make the whole experience cohesive. Using PHP we set up a system so the owners could change all the images around the site without needing to resize any images manually.
