The Patient Centered Primary Care Collaborative is a coalition of major employers, consumer groups, patient quality organizations, health plans, labor unions, hospitals, physicians and many others who have joined together to develop and advance the patient centered medical home. Taj Lounge is a very high end lounge on West 21st in New York. When we were tasked with building their site we realized the most important aspect of Taj we needed to promote was the restaurant itself. Many New York restaurants use a lot of flashy graphics on their sites instead of images to mask the fact that their establishment is less then stellar looking when photographed. Taj is absolutely gorgeous inside and was becoming more so with the redesign that was launching at the same time as the site. For these reasons we chose to make a fully flash based website that focused on showing the place, and surrounding those images with a design that evoked the proper ethnic flair. read more
Joshua Tree is a very popular Restaurant - Bar - Grille - Whatever combination on New York Cities Midtown West. When we went to build this site we realized that we not only needed to stand out from other Joshua Tree bars (there is apparently a JT bar in every city in the world as well as another right in NYC!), but that we needed to be reachable to people simply searching for ‘Joshua Tree’ as most people we asked would neglect to include the words ‘New York’ or ‘Bar’. This made Search Engine Optimization extremely important. For this reason we decided to go with an HTML/CSS design with JavaScript used throughout to make the experience feel more ‘flash-like’. read more
We built this site as a strictly flash based site for one of the more popular lower east side lounges. We chose to go with flash because it let us seamlessly integrate the branding throughout the site and make the whole experience cohesive. Using PHP we set up a system so the owners could change all the images around the site without needing to resize any images manually.
